There
are so many portable media players these days, one can
spend hours just looking through various models. This is the category
that iPod defined and iPods are still the standard to be measured
against, but others often offer similar functionality at better prices.
Additionally, some of the smaller internet tablet cross into this
category. We put together a
short list of portable players subject to the following limitations: 1)
they have to be multimedia players (not audio only), 2) they have to
have at least 8GB of storage, 3) screens 2.4" to 5", and
4) they have to be new (not
refurbished, not old models).
