If your taxes are more complex and require a paid version of TurboTax, you can still work in free trial mode all the way to the point of printing or filing before you'll be required to pay. The TurboTax site has version-by-version comparison detail so you can quickly identify the package that's appropriate for you. No matter which edition of TurboTax you choose, you'll also get free Federal E-Filing.
State returns are also available at each product tier. Discounts and free filing are available on returns prepared through April 15.
