Coby is not exactly a brand known for the highest quality and longest life, but this functionality at such a low price is worth considering. The DVD-283 features high definition upconversion in the player, support for both NTSC and PAL signals, coaxial digital audio output, and HDMI, component, RCA/composite, and s-video outputs. It also includes a set of RCA/composite audio outputs in case you don't have a surround sound system that can accept the digital audio out.
