Top-Rated Chateau Ste. Michelle Specials at Wine.com
Wine.com just announced deals on two highly-rated wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington state's oldest and most acclaimed winery. They wrote, "The grapes for both wines come from the winery's Indian Wells vineyard, one of the few west-facing vineyards in the Columbia Valley. The vines here receive plenty of afternoon heat, allowing the grapes to assert ripe fruit flavors. The contrasting cool nights help promote good structure, balance and intensity."
- 2003 Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon for $18. Just rated 91 by Wine Advocate, which called it "sultry, decadent and intense...a terrific value..."
- 2004 Indian Wells Chardonnay for $18. Wine Enthusiast just gave this wine a 90 rating. This wine delivers pineapple and mango aromas with hints of vanilla, caramel and brown sugar spice. This is a luscious Chardonnay with a soft, supple finish.
