You can now pre-order the innovative Kodak EasyShare V570 Dual Lens 5 Megapixel Digital Camera for $400 at Amazon. Like most early adopter pre-orders, this is a higher price then if you wait a few months, but if you are looking for what's cool, this is one to check out.
The EasyShare V570 was one of the more interesting things we saw at the Consumer Electronics Show earlier this month. It features a dual lens configuration in an ultraportable form-factor. The camera seemlessly switches between an ultrawide angle 23mm and a 39-117 mm zoom lenses to frame the picture however you want while keeping the camera size down. It's a creative and elegant solution to one of the classic problems of small point and shoot cameras. The V570 includes on-camera photo stitching software allowing you to join multiple shots into one continuous image. The camera has 32MB flash memory built-in and an SD card slot for image storage.
The camera is due to be released February 15. Your pre-order will ship for free.
